Privacy Policy

Trace and Trade (“we”, “us”) operates the website traceandtrade.net and the Trace and Trade mobile app. We surface public financial disclosures (Congress, SEC insider filings, 13F holdings, prediction-market activity, and more) with AI-generated significance scores. This policy explains what we collect and why.

• Account info — your email address and an optional display nickname, when you create an account.
• Notification tokens— if you enable push notifications, your device's push token and your alert preferences (on/off, score threshold).
• Usage analytics — on the website only, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. The mobile app does not run third-party tracking.
• Payment info — subscriptions on the website are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

The trading and disclosure data shown in the product is public record about third parties (officials, corporate insiders, funds) — it is not personal information about you.

To provide and operate the service, authenticate you, send the alerts you opt into, process subscriptions, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

We share limited data with providers that run the service: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (scoring filings — no personal account data is sent), Resend (email), Apple (push notifications and Sign in with Apple), and Google Analytics (website traffic only).

We keep your account data until you delete your account. Push tokens are removed when notifications are disabled or the token becomes invalid.

Trace and Trade is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older.
